CBS CNN NBC, The Washington Post and many other news outlets reported in November 2019 that more than 11,000 scientists from around the world declare a "climate emergency".  The report, published Tuesday Nov 5, 2019 in the journal Bioscience, was spearheaded by the ecologists Bill Ripple and Christopher Wolf of Oregon State University, along with William Moomaw, a Tufts University climate scientist, and researchers in Australia and South Africa. In a world of fake journalists, one real journalist the Canadian Ezra Levant of the Rebel checked into who those scientists are and whether they were scientists at all.  They included an "expert" on reincarnation, and all sorts of strange jobs that one would be hard pressed to call scientists.  Real scientists who speak out against global warming risk losing their jobs.

There is a consensus that 97% of scientists believe that we are endangered by global warming  The video below explains the hoax behind the consensus.

Sacked for speaking out about climate change.

Why would people deliberately create global warming panic?  Some undoubtedly believe that there is impending disaster due to the use of fossil fuel.  However some of the leaders of the climate alarmism movement admit to other motivations   Ottmar Edenhofer cochair of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group from 2008 to 2015 explained "One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy.  U.N. climate chief Christina Figueres explained "We redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy."

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti admitted recently that the true motivation behind introducing the Green New Deal is to overhaul the “entire economy.”

Chakrabarti said that addressing climate change was not Ocasio-Cortez’s top priority in proposing the Green New Deal during a meeting with Washington governor Jay Inslee.

“The interesting thing about the Green New Deal, is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all,” Chakrabarti said to Inslee’s climate director, Sam Ricketts, according to a Washington Post reporter who attended the meeting for a profile published Wednesday.

“Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing,” he added

Greta Thunberg wrote an OPED claiming that fossil fuels “are literally” killing mankind, and that they are a threat to “our very existence” as she said that her “climate crisis” agenda is not just about the environment, but about fighting the “colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression.”

The Green New Deal, proposed earlier this year by Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey (D., Mass.), would transition the U.S. economy entirely away from fossil fuels within ten years while simultaneously providing a federal jobs and healthcare guarantee. It would also, according to its proponents, advance “social, economic, racial, regional and gender-based justice and equality and cooperative and public ownership.”

All told, the proposal will cost up to $93 trillion in new government spending over ten years, according to a recent report by the conservative American Action Forum.

Elizabeth Wheeler, host of OAN explained that "The true aim of the Paris climate conference was “to change the economic development model [capitalism].  --   The Democrats stage this lie to usher in socialism without the voter’s consent,     Richard Lindzen, an emeritus professor of atmospheric sciences at MIT explained that s its about politics and power.  Indeed climate alarmism wins elections.  That has become a huge motivator for creating climate alarmism.  Self feeding vicious circle.  The more people who are alarmed about climate the more the motivation to get votes by alarming people about climate.

Creation of this alarmist delusion worked for the Democrats in Virginia.  One of their main campaign issues was their Green New Deal and Climate Change and that helped them win flip the House and Senate of Virginia to Democrat control.  Trudeau may have one the 2019 election in Canada by campaigning on climate change.  The Republicans and Trump have reality on his side.  Trump can and does point to America's booming economy that has resulted from his policies.  The Democrats can't win on the economy so they need to create a delusion in the minds of the voters that catastrophe will ensue if the voters don't vote for them.  Trump will not destroy the economy by abolishing fossil fuel use and pouring money into windmills and solar panels so that is an opportunity for the Democrats to get voters to vote against Trump.  Henry Mencken once said that "the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed and hence clamorous to be led to safety."  That is what the Democrats are doing.  Real alarm should be raised about the economic costs of replacing or attempting to replace fossil fuels with windmills.  The Democrats create the fantasy that doing so will pay for itself and couch the massive expenditures on infrastructure that they plan for as a New Deal that will create jobs and help the economy.  Incidentally it is likely that the original New Deal called FDR's folly,  prolonged the misery of the great depression.  On May 6, 1939, Henry Morgenthau, Roosevelt’s treasury secretary, confirmed the total failure of the New Deal to stop the Great Depression: “We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. . . . I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. . . . And an enormous debt to boot!”   Indeed the Green New deal would increase an already untenable debt enormously.  Democrats answer this by saying the question is now whether we can afford to do it but whether we can afford not to.  Proponents of the Green New Deal argue that the costs of inaction are dramatically higher. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., claims, “We’re going to pay for this whether we pass a Green New Deal or not. Because as towns and cities go underwater, as wildfires ravage our communities, we are going to pay.”

The incredibly massive demonstrations in NYC on Sept 20 when tens of thousands of people came to hold a Climate Strike, indicate the power of the climate issues to flip elections.

Climate alarmism is electing people who will be bad for our economy, bad for our freedoms and bad for America.  It has to be exposed for the harmful nonsense that it is.
