The following video is of a good Muslim woman from Myanmar telling about surviving an attack by other Muslims. I start with the next 2 videos to stress two things, the first is that there are good Muslims who are victims of other Muslims and the second is that although Islam is evil not all Muslims are evil. Many Muslims are victims of Islam. The second video is an interview with Ashin Wirathu the Buddhist leader of Myanmar. He explains that whether Buddhists and Muslims live peacefully or not is not up to the Buddhists, it's up to the Muslims.
The reason it's not up to the Buddhists is that Muslims are the aggressors in Myanmar just as they are the world over because the Islamic religion requires that they wage jihad until they dominate the world. The third video shows that.
“Make Martyrdom What You Seek”
The bullets hit your hearts like the stings of a bee
You fall on your face as all you can see
Are the Gardens so wide when you’re put in the ground
You’ve been searching for years and now you have found
The Ultimate Prize, so sacred, so sweet.
Your bargain with your Lord is finally complete,
Because you are all martyrs without fear or grief
Who gave all you had for your precious belief,
You promised Him your souls and He promised you much more
Now you can enjoy what He’s kept in store
An endless reward for those who stood by
The covenant they made that towards death they would fly,
While graves burn the sinners and squeeze them so tight
You’re shown your places in the Garden, so spacious and bright,
On the Day when Great Terror shall steal all their words
Your souls will rest in the hearts of green birds,
Under the Great Throne with beauty beyond measure
At you ar-Rahmaan laughs, expressing his Pleasure,
Sufficient is this as a heavenly prize
But prepared for you is that never before seen by the eyes,
On your head is placed a crown, one jewel of which is worth
More than all of the jewels contained in this Earth,
You are brought to a gathering with companions so beautiful
The Prophets, the righteous and those who are truthful,
Al-Firdaws, where those of the Right Hand shall meet
Where the soil is white musk, so smooth and so sweet,
You scoop up a handful and throw it in the air
You are relaxed by the rivers flowing everywhere,
Water, milk and honey gushing forth non-stop
So thick and delicious you want to devour each drop,
You drink so much you almost end up falling
Into the flowing current, then you hear voices calling,
You turn and behold! The voices are singing
Coming from Maidens so fair and enchanting,
These are the Hoorees with round and firm chests
Pure untouched virgins, they’re better than the best,
Seventy-two in all, with large eyes of dark hue
Each one created especially for you,
They call our your name asking where you are
But to their disappointment, from the battles you are far,
Your heart is intoxicated by the pleasures of this life
Fear (of death) has wounded your manhood like a sharp knife,
A knife sharpened by the callers to Hell’s every door
Who pulled the sword from your hand and threw it to the floor,
And given you women, children and money instead
Convincing you ‘this is better than ending up dead’
But no! They are alive, rejoicing and provided for!
When asked what they desire, they will answer no more!
So be from the cream of this heavenly crop!
Shake off your fear and let your doubts drop!
Pick up the sword and grab your horse’s reins tight!
Throw off your armor and jump into the fight!
Make your path be none other than Islam’s high peak
Whose mountain is climbed by making death what you seek!

I grew up, and currently live, in Passaic County, New Jersey, which is said to have the second largest Muslim population in the U.S. I grew up with Arabs and with Muslims. I have had Muslim friends, boyfriends, bosses, coworkers, and students. I love many Muslims. I feel for them the kind of love you feel for any close friend. When I was a girl, one day a Muslim friend turned to me and said, “When the time for jihad comes, if you don’t accept Islam, I will have to kill you.”
The simple truth is that Islam is different from the other world belief systems: Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. None of these includes anything like the call to jihad. Islam does.

Nonie Darwish in an outstanding speech to the Heritage Foundation that can be viewed online said that:
Jihad is defined by Al Azhar University which is the oldest Islamic University in Cairo over a thousand year…It's a permanent war institution against nonbelievers Jews Christians and Pagans.
We hate you, first and
foremost, because you are disbelievers; you reject the oneness of Allah –
whether you realize it or not – by making partners for Him in worship, you
blaspheme against Him, claiming that He has a son [Christ], you fabricate
lies against His prophets and messengers, and you indulge in all manner of
devilish practices. It is for this reason that we were commanded to openly
declare our hatred for you and our enmity towards you. “There has already
been for you an excellent example in Abraham and those with him, when they
said to their people, ‘Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from
whatever you worship other than Allah. We have rejected you, and there has
arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred forever until you believe in
Allah alone’” (Al-Mumtahanah 4 [i.e., Koran 60:4]). Furthermore, just as
your disbelief is the primary reason we hate you, your disbelief is the
primary reason we fight you, as we have been commanded to fight the
disbelievers until they submit to the authority of Islam, either by becoming
Muslims, or by paying jizyah – for those afforded this option [“People of
the Book”] – and living in humiliation under the rule of the Muslims [per

There are some Islamic
apologists who tell us that Jihad is simply a struggle to better oneself.
Nonie Darwish wrote
in her book Now They Call Me Infidel, that she never heard that
palatable-to-Western-ears definition of jihad before
Do these supporters of Hezbollah believe that Jihad is just a struggle to better oneself?
One such apologist, Jamal Badawi, has even offered one million dollars to anyone who can find references in the Qur’an that condone “religious war".
Robert Spencer, the author or Jihad Watch, responded to Mr. Badawi and wrote in frontpagemag.com (The Million Dollar Qu'ran Challenge 2/17/05)
Dr. Badawi, I want to be a millionaire. Here are a few quotes from the Qur’an:
Mr. Spencer then gave a long list of bloodthirsty quotes from the Qu'ran which you can read by clicking the link above, that condone religious war and answered the allegation that he is misinterpreting these quotes with examples of how Muslim share his misinterpretation. Needless to say Badawi did not keep his end of the bargain and Spencer is still waiting for the million dollars.
There are cases where the world Jihad only refers to a struggle to accomplish something instead of to murder people. Robert Spencer wrote:
Jihad in Arabic does indeed mean “struggle,” and the Arabic word carries as many connotations as the English one. One may struggle to lose weight or to exercise regularly, and the same word is used for great struggles, such as those against Nazism and Communism. The Islamic Republic of Iran has a Department of Agricultural Jihad, which has nothing to do with blowing up farm implements, but merely concerns itself with the struggle to increase crop yields.
However, the principal meaning of jihad throughout Islamic history and in Islamic law is armed struggle against unbelievers to subjugate them as inferiors under the rule of Sharia.
David Horowitz in an interview with Campus Progress recounted how:
At Columbia members of the Muslim Students Association came to my speech. During the question period, the vice president of the organization made a little speech about how jihad is a spiritual struggle and not a holy war. I had not even referred to jihad in my speech, but I understood what her talking point was driving at. So I asked her, “Will you condemn Hamas, which is a terrorist organization and has sworn to eliminate the Jewish state?” She dodged that three different ways as I repeated the question. Finally I said, “Well, I know your answer.”
In 1980, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia explained Jihad as follows:
‘What is meant by jihad is a united, comprehensive, integrated Arab-Islamic confrontation in which we place all our resources and our spiritual, cultural, political, material and military potential in a long and untiring ‘Holy War’ against Israel, of course, who else?’
History has answered King Fahd’s question "Who else?" and the answer is everybody else.
There are all kinds of Jihad. It is March 28 2013 as I write this paragraph and jihadists are fighting the regime of Bashar el Assad in Syria. It's kind of lonely for the heroic Jihadis so a fatwa was issued on the internet calling for women to engage in sexual Jihad i.e. to take care of the sexual desires of Jihadis. Some Tunisian teenagers headed for Syria as a result of the fatwa.
David Cook of Rice University wrote a book called Understanding Jihad in which he says the contention that jihad refers to the "effort to lead a good life" as “pathetic and laughable”. He traced the evolution of jihad from Muhammad to Osama. One stage in that evolution was in Jihad becoming war not only against the infidel but also against less radical Muslims. The group that assassinated Anwar El-Sadat in 1981 considered jihad as the path to world domination.
Al Qaida tells us that (Al Qaida Rejects Saudi Ultimatum, Worldnetdaily 7/15/04):
Jihad for the sake of Allah is one of the religious obligations of Islam, which has been practiced by the heroes of the Islamic nation, as a way of removing injustice to them, slaughtering their enemies, and aspiring towards rightly guided caliphate.
What's wrong with removing injustice and surely a rightly guided Caliphate is better than a wrongly guided democracy isn't it?
Serge Trifkovic in his outstanding book about Islam, titled The Sword of the Prophet, writes that radical Moslems consider themselves victims of injustice and oppressed and wrongly guided if they do not live in a country governed by Shariah (Islamic Law). Those who oppose this are Islam's enemies. Rewriting the above definition of Jihad to take this into account we get:
Jihad for the sake of Allah is one of the religious obligations of Islam, which has been practiced by the heroes of the Islamic nation, as a way of forcing all who are not governed by Shariah to be so governed and slaughtering those who will not submit to Shariah and an Islamic empire.
Andrew Bostom wrote that: (frontpage magazine.com 4/17/2006)
(d. 1111), the famous theologian, philosopher, and paragon of mystical Sufism,
who as noted by the eminent scholar W.M. Watt is, “…acclaimed in both the East
and West as the greatest Muslim after Muhammad, and he is by no means unworthy
of that dignity”, wrote the following in the Wadjiz, (dated 1101, i.e., in the
last decade of his life) about jihad war and the treatment of the vanquished
non-Muslim dhimmi peoples:
[O]ne must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book – primarily Jews and Christians] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide…they may steal as much food as they need…
[T]he dhimmi is obliged not to mention Allah or His Apostle…Jews, Christians, and Majians must pay the jizya [poll tax on non-Muslims]…on offering up the jizya, the dhimmi must hang his head while the official takes hold of his beard and hits [the dhimmi] on the protruberant bone beneath his ear [i.e., the mandible]… They are not permitted to ostentatiously display their wine or church bells…their houses may not be higher than the Muslim’s, no matter how low that is. The dhimmi may not ride an elegant horse or mule; he may ride a donkey only if the saddle [-work] is of wood. He may not walk on the good part of the road. They [the dhimmis] have to wear [an identifying] patch [on their clothing], even women, and even in the [public] baths…[dhimmis] must hold their tongue….
Nonie Darwish gave her answer to Muslim apologists at her talk at the Heritage Foundation. She said:
I don't care what the book says or not says because this is really besides the point. …You can sit and interpret as much as you want. All the West is interested in is to make business with the Muslim world because they have oil and do it peacefully and orderly and without being beheaded.
I can sit and talk with all these Muslim apologists who [say that] “But this doesn't mean this and jihad doesn't mean that”, it doesn't matter. Teach it to your kids produce a generation of peace loving Muslims and I'll believe you and thats the whole point.
Just as there is disagreement over the meaning of Jihad there is disagreement over the meaning of Islam. We are told by Islamic apologists that Islam means peace. We are also told that the real meaning of Islam is submission. What most people don't realize is that submission means control. For someone to submit they must submit to control. Islam means subjugating the non-believer and controlling him. It means controlling women. It means controlling every aspect of life. It means conquering the world and controlling it.
Ergun Mehmet Caner author of Unveiling Islam and a former Muslim observed:
Islam at its core is a religion of warfare. Muhammad was a warrior. We are taught to conquer. We are taught to fight. If anyone says in the media that Islam is a religion of peace, they either don't know their faith, don’t know the Qur'an, or they are lying.
Many Muslims, complain about oppression of the Palestinians by Israel. Although their real objection to Israel may be that it is not governed by Shariah they will not say this to the West from whom they are trying to elicit support. Instead they complain about Palestinian refugees and Israeli violence and the Israeli occupation of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). When trying to understand if Israeli violence and the plight of the Palestinian refugees are the cause of the Arab Jihad, we need to consider the possibility that instead of being the cause of their Jihad it may be a result of their Jihad against the Jewish infidel. This possibility is addressed by the Creation of Oppression web page cycle diagram. In order to answer this question we need to also understand the history of the Middle East conflict. One historical event that is often overlooked but that is very significant when trying to understand the Middle East is the original Jihad by which Islam conquered Israel from the Romans. Israeli oppression of Muslims clearly was not the cause of that Jihad because it took place when the Israelis were being oppressed by the Romans and the Muslims had not yet established a presence there. That Jihad was caused by the commandment to spread Islam throughout the world. The late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini explained in 1980 that:
Our struggle is not about land or water, It is about bringing, by force if necessary, the whole of mankind onto the right path.
Another more recent historical event whose significance is often overlooked is the Six Day War in 1967. The cause of the 1967 Islamic Jihad against Israel could not have been the Israeli "occupation" of Judea and Samaria because Israel did not occupy Judea and Samaria at the time. The 1967 Jihad was motivated by a desire, as President Gamal Nasser expressed it, "to drive Israel into the sea". Yet another historical event whose significance is overlooked are the Arab massacres of Jews in the 20s and 30s. Israel hadn't even been established yet. For more eye-opening facts about the cause of Jihad in the Middle East I recommend the Middle East Primer on the web site of Americans for a Safe Israel. Brigette Gabriel, a Lebanese Christian gave a speech at Duke on Oct 14, 2004 in which she spoke about another historical event, a truck bombing in 1948, and what we can learn from it. She said:
They blame suicide bombing on "desperation from
occupation." But let me tell you the truth. The first major terror bombing
committed by Arabs against the Jewish state occurred ten weeks before
If Israeli behavior is responsible for war in the Middle East then why are the Muslims involved in so many other wars and conflicts. Brigette Gabriel speaks about the Muslim war against the Christians in Lebanon in an excellent video on her web site and explains that the reason for the war against the Christians was simply that they were Christian. Hatred of the infidel is at the root of Jihad. The Memri Clip of Iranians shouting "May the hands of the infidels be chopped off" and "Death to America" at a rally in Mecca that was shown on January 9, 2006 on Iranian TV, makes this very clear.
How the Middle East conflict should be handled by foreign governments such as the United States and how all conflicts involving Muslims should be handled depends on understanding the roots of Jihad and why Muslims believe they are oppressed. If the command to fight holy war against the infidel is responsible for the Muslim war against Israel, if they will always feel oppressed by the infidel as long as the infidel strikes back and as long as the infidel is not governed by Shariah, then no amount of Israeli concessions, including the disappearence of Israel will stop the hostility of Muslims to the unjust oppressors of the infidel West. The frenzy of violence that has met Israeli territorial concessions should clue, clueless Western policy makers who pressure Israel to make more territorial concessions that their policies are not working and that they don't understand Islam and the roots of violence in the Middle East. If the theory that the occupation is causing conflict is correct then territorial concessions by Israel should have reduced, not increased the violence. If on the other hand the theory that the goal to devour Israel underlies conflict in the Middle East is correct, then throwing territorial concessions at Jihadists would be expected to have the same effect as throwing raw flesh at sharks, which indeed it has.
There are those who argue that the Muslim conflict with Israel is the root of the Muslim conflict with the United States yet if hatred of the infidel and the freedom of the infidel not to practice Islam, is the root of the conflict with the United States than it is in our best interests to have a strong Israel stopping Islam from dominating the Middle East completely. George Bush got it right when he told Congress on September 20 that America was targetted for attack on September 11,
"because we’re the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep that light from shining."
He did not say that Islam attacked America and has gone out of his way to attribute the attack to terrorists hijacking Islam. Whether he is right about that is discussed further on this page and on the Creation of Delusion web page.
When reading about the bad things Muslims have done and the bad aspects of their religion it is important to remember that there are good Muslims and not to generalize all negative conclusions to them. When you read the word Muslim, I ask that you remember that Muslims are not monolithic in their viewpoints.
